photography...As a writer, Heather began to realize that she could provide an added service to the editors she worked with: photographs. Rather than hire a photographer to cover her stories, they could get the pictures directly from her. As a photographer Heather has discovered that she loves taking a good picture. There is something special about photos that speak louder than words. To date her photographs have appeared in The Western Horse Review, HorseLife, the Quarter Horse News, and Birthing magazine (Calgary). She also provided over 150 photographs for her book Rookie Reiner, due out in fall 2008.
